Event Description:  We are back with our 17th Annual Spring Symposium! Each year we have grown and improve with our professionals in mind! The PMIGLC 2018 Spring Symposium “Leadership, Innovation, and Creativity in a World of Change” is an educational and networking forum that provides a platform for the best minds in academia and industry to share the latest developments and advancements in the field of project management. The offerings this year include excellent keynote speakers and a choice of presentations covering various topics. The Great Lakes Chapter of the Project Management Institute® (PMIGLC) is proud to announce that Melanie Spring will be our opening keynote speaker at this year's Spring Symposium! Melanie’s personal brand is Approachable Badass. The girl who became your best friend within the first 5 minutes of meeting you. The badass who tipped you off the edge of the cliff you were scared of jumping off. Melanie will be presenting ROCK YOUR PITCH: Storytelling with Numbers.  Melanie’s keynote will help you: Find out how the numbers can tell a story, Provide tips on how to tell the story without boring people, explain why it matters that you make your audience feel something, and show how the story AND the numbers make the impact!  Our closing keynote is a power house too! Cynthia D'Amour, MBA has spent more than 20 years helping thousands of leaders get more members involved in associations.
